On December 17, sponsored by Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Futian District and organized by Shenzhen Securities Information Co., Ltd., the launch ceremony of CNI Xiangmi Lake Cultural and Creativity Index was successfully held. CNI Xiangmi Lake Cultural and Creativity Index (Cultural and Creativity Index for short, with code of 980046), jointly researched and developed by Futian District People’s Government and Shenzhen Securities Information Co., Ltd., is the first cultural and creativity stock index as well as the first Shenzhen-Hong Kong cross-border cultural and creativity index in China. Taking listed companies in SZSE and Hong Kong Stock Connect targets included in the Stock Connect as samples, the index covers fields of games, film and television, advertisements, cultural tourism and digital services and selects 100 stocks related to cultural and creative industries with high total market value and good liquidity as the sample stocks, according to relevant reports. Among those sample stocks, CMGE, Tencent Holdings and Focus Media and other leading listed companies are included.

At this event, Hendrick Sin, Vice Chairman of CMGE was present and signed to participate in the Cultural and Creative Industry Investment Fund Alliance of Futian District initiated by Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Futian District. The Cultural and Creative Industry Investment Fund Alliance of Futian District (hereinafter referred to as the Investment Alliance) is initiated by Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Futian District, with major members including Tencent Technology (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd., Guiding Fund, Shenzhen Cultural Assets and Equity Exchange, CMGE, Shenzhen Saifu Dynamic Equity Investment Fund Management Partnership (L.P.) and Tiantu Capital Co., Ltd.

Adhering to the principle of coordinated development, win-win cooperation and resource sharing, the Investment Alliance aims to solve the problems of difficult and expensive financing for cultural and creative enterprises and promote the formation of a unique cultural and financial industry development cluster in Futian District, driving the rapid development of the cultural and financial industry in Futian District and helping Futian District to apply for the establishment of the National Culture and Finance Cooperation Demonstration Zone.

The Investment Alliance is an open, non-profit consortium based on voluntariness, equality, mutual benefit and cooperation. Through the further communication between members in the Alliance, diversified cooperation has been achieved and activities such as training in investment and financing, investment and financing information sharing and project-related roadshows have been carried out for cultural companies, in a bid to enable effective resource and information complementation and sharing, provide targeted resource sharing services for cultural companies in Futian District and promote the further integration of culture and finance while promising the scale economy and improving the core competitiveness of cultural and creative industry in Futian District.
